Description

The Rhinowalk Mechanic Series MJX2011 is an expandable 5L to 6.5L motorcycle tank bag that locks to a model-specific fuel-cap ring instead of relying on magnets against the painted tank. A magnetic release tab makes the bag quick to remove, while the key-operated base and combination-lock zipper add security during travel stops.

Important: the bag and adapter are purchased separately

  1. Select Black, Brown or Orange and add the MJX2011 tank bag to your cart.
  2. Return to the variant selector, choose the exact XM104 adapter listed for your motorcycle make, model and model year, and add it separately.
  3. Do not choose an adapter by shape alone. Check the fitment chart shown when that adapter variant is selected.

Why choose the Mechanic Series magnetic tank bag?

  • Expandable capacity: use approximately 5L for daily rides and expand to approximately 6.5L when more space is needed.
  • Quick magnetic release: operate the release tab to remove the bag from its mounting base without straps across the tank.
  • Model-specific ring mounting: the adapter attaches at the fuel-cap ring so the bag does not rest directly on the painted tank surface.
  • Adjustable position: the rail allows front-to-back adjustment to help balance rider and handlebar clearance.
  • Anti-theft details: the base uses a key-operated lock and the zipper pulls can be secured with the built-in combination lock.
  • Organized storage: internal compartments, an elastic top cord and MOLLE-compatible attachment points organize ride essentials.
  • Off-bike carry: use the handle or detachable shoulder strap after removing the bag from the motorcycle.

Compatibility and safety checks

Compatibility depends on the exact motorcycle model, model year and fuel-cap bolt layout. Use the chart attached to each XM104 adapter variant. After installation, turn the handlebar fully left and right and verify that the bag does not interfere with steering, controls or the ignition. Recheck all fasteners regularly.
